A Collective Library project by Phytorio Yours faithfully, is a participatory project by the members and friends of Phytorio. It involves the creation of a unique library with a series of collectible artworks created on page 24 of various books, kindly provided by Moufflon bookshop and curated by Pinna Nobilis Bookworks.

The formation of this particular library is the outcome of a coordinated action in which the artists, having first selected a book, they worked separately, each at their own space but at the same day and time. This virtual connection contributing in a collective act, led to the creation of small individual artworks while at the same time strengthened the importance of this gesture through the acknowledgement of belonging in a group. The resulting re-reading of the books, exposed to new correlations, evokes desires that lead to new encounters. This will be possible through an auction that will take place on Saturday 12 December 2020, from 11 am at the phytorio.

The project, maintaining its creative character, adapts to the special public health and safety conditions.

The books will be posted online in a digital file (available to download ) on the freshly renewed website of phytorio from Friday 11 December 2020 at 4 p.m. They will also be physically displayed at phytorio and available to view by appointment.

Anyone interested in purchasing a book will be able to submit their offer for the book(s) of their choice from Saturday 12 December 2020, either by physically attending the event or by phone.

The auction event will be completed on Sunday 13 December 2020 at 4pm.

The anonymity of the creator will be maintained throughout the process. Their name will only be revealed upon delivery of the work to its new owner.

The initial sale price for all books is 200 euros. Of the final sale amount, 50% will go to the artist and the other 50% to phytorio association.
